A downloadable game for Windows

Clean Freak is a small game about a dog named Derples trying to stop the Master's new Droomba from hurting itself.

It's paying homage to the whacky cartoon situations where the pet has to be responsible for an inept second character who's always getting into hairy situations. Think Tom & Jerry, Mindy & Buttons, Courage the Cowardly Dog.

The Droomba goes in haphazard directions on a whim, and can easily break from any falling object, fall from a high place, or getting wet. You can use your body to protect it from harm like a cartoon!

Keep in mind that Master expects the house to be clean, so you have to do that as well, get your broom and sweep up the mess! But you can't protect the Droomba while carrying the broom!

Try to find out how to prioritize cleanliness and protectiveness in this little experiment.

Controls:

  • Movement: WASD/Arrow Keys
  • Dive: Spacebar
  • Sweep/Protect: Left Click
  • Grab/Drop Broom: Right Click
  • Pause/Instructions: Esc Key
The entire game was created by Jaime Echeverría (RPGgrenade) using several self created, pre-purchased & free-use assets.

I really like it! But you might separate a little bit more the hazards. Several times i tried to protect Droomba from plates but there was a puddle near so i always transform in a bridge and lose.

Might really benefit from a tutorial.  Having said, once you figure out how the game works, it's quite fun and challenging.  And even failure is fun, as the animation of the droomba "dying" is pretty amusing.

I really should have made a tutorial, you're right. But I'm glad you think it's fun!
